With seven action-packed weeks filled with exciting outings, engaging activities, and delightful special guests, this year\u2019s camp was a resounding success. We were thrilled to welcome 92 amazing campers who brought their energy and enthusiasm to every moment of our summer adventure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Thank you so much to our partners, Canadian Progress Club, Halifax, and Canadian Tire Jumpstart, for your support in making this possible. Progress Club has been with us for eight years now, helping to make sure that people with disabilities and our families are supported throughout the summer months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:75px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-x-large-font-size\">Camp themes shape experiences <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">This year, campers had a hand in shaping the camp experience by choosing themes that truly resonated with them. Our favourite part of the camp experience is undoubtedly the accessible bus trips. One of the highlights was a special Campfire BBQ hosted by a friend of the Club, adding a unique touch to our summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">When we weren&#8217;t out exploring, we welcomed some fantastic special guests who brought their own flair to the camp. We even had the joy of having one very special doggie join our camp community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">As summer came to a close, we couldn\u2019t help but reflect on how quickly the weeks flew by. It is pure chaos, so funny, and simply put, the best. None of this would be possible without the staff who work tirelessly to make it what it is. Whether that is dressing up as cowboys or getting a pie in the face, they do it all! To all the members who go out of their way to hug me every single day, for making me laugh until I cry, and who show me that anything is possible, thank you.
